Our activities: What we do and what we stand for
What we do
Our fundation Fundacja Świętego Mikołaja engages in researching and resolving the problems caused by a crisis of solidarity with the people who need our help.
Presently, we focus on:
- foster homes
- single mothers
- compensating educational opportunities of children from rural areas
- political issues in the context of the ultimate human values
Results
One outcome of our work are various research findings and reports which we have promoted and disseminated in social campaigns. We have also been successful in collecting money and creating special-purpose funds.

Mom at work
“Mom at work” is a social campaign initiated by Fundacja Świętego Mikołaja which focuses on the presence of mothers on the labor market. The project’s launch was preceded by the most comprehensive sociological survey ever conducted in Poland on this issue, examining the situation of mothers in the workplace and their motivations in the professional life.
The purpose of the campaign is to advertise our results and in particular to increase the awareness of unfair practices affecting mothers in their workplace and to inspire a discussion on combining maternal and professional duties.
